Cupra TCR NZ

Sheehans Cupra tcr #57

NZ's first cupra tcr

Chassis 015 Seat CUPRA TCR DSG has a history of competing at some of the most iconic tracks and events in Europe, including SPA Francorchamps, Silverstone and Barcelona.

Originally imported by M Developments Motorport to run as a sister car to Golf GTI #79 in 2019 and driven by Ron Mackersy and Warren Good who acheived a best result of 3rd place in Class B at Highlands Motorsport Park 3 hour race that season.

Now owned by Sheehans Motorsport who will run the car with track support from M Developments Motorsport in the 2021 SIERDC 1H Championship. This will represent a new challenge for driver Mike Sheehan moving to endurance racing after a successful rally program culminating in two South Island class championships and one 2WD National Rally Championship.
